The start
It started from Tejah Majah, a lalafell fisherman from Limsa Lominsa like many others. His life was quiet, sometimes leaving the city for days on his boat. He was free to do everything and nothing.
Soon, this quiet life would take a wild turn. Meeting a clumsy scholar by the name of Mokoa Moka, it was love at first sight.Their love story will be as swift as it was short, they got married not long after meeting. Tejah couldn’t be more proud of his wife, being a scholar dealing with all the magical things he couldn’t even understand ! Soon after, they had a child. As stated earlier, their perfect family life ended too soon. Mokoa died two years after Elija's adoption in a tragic accident. Tejah never really explained what happened to his daughter.Even in grief, Tejah did his best to raise his child, keeping her with him all day. Elijah was raised mostly on boats, fishing with her dad. When she reached the age to be able to learn how to read, Tejah enrolled a friend of his late wife to teach the child. The hyur woman, being a scholar herself, sparked interest in the young Elijah. She, too, wanted to learn magic !Years later, upon seeing that the arcanist guild wasn’t her calling, she bid goodbye to her father and made her way to Gridania. There, she learned the way of conjury. Still wanting more, Elijah started to sell her service for gils, life isn’t free after all ! It was an interesting experience to say the least. She met a lot of different people from different backgrounds. The one that caught her interest the most, was a Sage from Sharlayan. Both of them talked briefly on the subject, the man not wanting to say too much but couldn’t stop the flow of questions pestering him from that lalafell-Now wanting to try it out, she commissioned weapons modeled after the nouliths and started to teach herself to use them. Of course, with her own healing power. To this day, she is still perfecting her craft.
